Standard terms for all BT Games Activities

TERMS & CONDITIONS: All standard terms and conditions of BT Games and suppliers of products advertised herein apply. All offers are valid while stocks last. We reserve the right to limit quantities of promotional items per customer. Website pricing may differ from in-store pricing, and vouchers may not be able to be redeemed on website purchases. Original vouchers are valid for a single-use/purchase and are not redeemable in conjunction with a pre-order discount or any other promotional offer. Where applicable, promotional prices (“voucher price”) have already had the advertised discount value applied and as such are not incremental.

BT Games takes utmost care to ensure that all advertising is correct. If any mistakes occur or incomplete information is advertised, BT Games undertakes to display a notice in-store and online with the correct information. Packshot images may vary. Stock availability may vary per store. Auto upgrades and DLC offers are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis provided pre-ordered items are collected within 7 days of release. Pre-order incentives may be determined by publishers, are limited and may be substituted and/or changed at any time. Collector´s editions and other premium versions of games require full payment within 48 hours to secure an order. This deposit is non-refundable should the order be cancelled within 14 days of release. BT Games cannot be held liable for certain games or consoles that require internet downloads and updates before playing. All release dates indicated are merely a guide and are subject to change at any time without notice due to circumstances beyond our control. BT Games will inform customers of any changes via email or SMS. No dealers. BT Games Advantage card benefits are not applicable to any promotional offers. E&OE. BT Games Birthday Competition – Terms & Conditions

By entering this competition, you confirm that you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is BT Games (Pty) Ltd, with its registered address at [insert registered address].

2. Eligibility

The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who legally reside in South Africa.

Employees, contractors, agents, or family members of BT Games (Pty) Ltd, its affiliated companies, advertising agencies, or partners involved in this competition, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

BT Games reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and may request identification or other documentation to confirm eligibility.

3. Competition Period & Entry

The competition will run during the following periods:

Entry Submission Period: 9 March 2026 – 31 March 2026

Public Voting Period: 1 April 2026 – 10 April 2026

To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Submit a photo and/or written story describing their favourite memories with BT Games.
  • Entries must be sent via email to btgames.competitions@btonline.co.za
  • Participants may include multiple photos within a single entry submission.

Entries must be received before 23:59 on 31 March 2026. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

BT Games will review all valid submissions and select ten (10) finalists based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the competition theme. These finalists will be featured on the BT Games website, where the public will be able to vote for their favourite entry.

BT Games reserves the right to exclude any submission that contains inappropriate, offensive, copyrighted, or unlawful content.

4. Public Voting

Public voting will take place on the BT Games website from 1 April 2026 to 7 April 2026.

The entry receiving the highest number of valid votes during the voting period will be declared the winner.

BT Games reserves the right to monitor and audit all votes. Any attempt to manipulate the voting process, including but not limited to the use of bots, automated systems, scripts, vote exchanges, duplicate accounts, or other fraudulent methods, may result in disqualification of the participant.

BT Games reserves the right to remove suspicious or invalid votes and its decision regarding vote validity will be final and binding.

5. Prize

The winner will receive:

1 × Life-size statue from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

The winner will be determined based on the highest number of valid public votes recorded by 7 April 2026.

The winner will be contacted via the email address used to submit their entry within 5 business days after the voting period closes.

If the winner does not respond within 7 calendar days, BT Games reserves the right to award the prize to the next highest voted eligible finalist.

7. Prize Collection

The winner must be capable of collecting the prize in person from BT Games Head Office (Located in Northriding, Gauteng).

Due to the size and nature of the prize, the following conditions apply:

  • BT Games will not be responsible for the transportation, delivery, or shipping of the prize.
  • All costs associated with transporting the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

The winner may be required to provide valid identification and sign a prize acceptance form before the prize is released.

8. Entry Content & Usage Rights

By submitting an entry, participants confirm that:

  • The photo(s) and/or written story submitted are their original work.
  • The entry does not infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyright, privacy, or intellectual property rights.
  • Any individuals appearing in submitted photos have granted permission for their image to be used for the purposes of this competition.

By entering the competition, participants grant BT Games a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, publish, reproduce, display, and share submitted entries (including photos and stories) for competition promotion, marketing, and related promotional purposes across BT Games websites, social media platforms, and marketing materials.

No additional compensation will be payable for such use.

9. Privacy

By entering the competition, participants consent to BT Games collecting and processing their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting finalists and the winner.

All personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for the administration of the competition.

10. General Conditions

BT Games reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition or these Terms & Conditions at any time if required by law or if circumstances arise beyond its control.

BT Games also reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Violates these Terms & Conditions
  • Submits false or misleading information
  • Attempts to manipulate the entry or voting process

Participation in this competition is free, and no purchase is required to enter.

The organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, postpone, or amend the voting phase of the competition should an insufficient number of valid entries be received. In such circumstances, the organisers may determine an alternative method of selecting a winner or withdraw the competition entirely without prior notice.

The decision of BT Games (or its appointed adjudicator) is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

This competition is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and other applicable South African laws governing promotional competitions.

By entering, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

007 First Light Pre-Order Competition – Terms & Conditions

By entering this competition, you confirm that you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who legally reside in South Africa.

BT Games reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and may request identification or other documentation to confirm eligibility.

  1. Competition Mechanic & Entry Requirements

To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Pre-order and collect 007 First Light on PS5
  • Pre-orders must be placed on or before 25 May 2026
  • Existing pre-orders qualify, provided the game is collected
  • The game must be collected within 7 days of launch

Entry process:

  • Online (delivery) orders:
    All qualifying web orders for delivery will be automatically entered into the competition using the customer information provided at checkout.
  • In-store collection orders:
    Customers collecting their pre-orders in-store will be required to provide their details at the time of collection, which store staff will capture for entry into the competition.

For all entries, the following information must be valid and may be verified:

  • Invoice number
  • South African ID number (to confirm age eligibility)
  • Valid email address
  • Contact number

BT Games reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, inaccurate, or cannot be verified.

  1. Participating Products
  • Included: PS5 Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition of 007 First Light
  • Excluded: Nintendo Switch 2 (NS2) version, 007 First Light controller
  1. Competition Period
  • Entries open: Launch day (expected 27 May 2026, subject to change)
  • Entries close: 7 days after launch (expected 2 June 2026, subject to change)

Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.

  1. Prize

The winner will receive:

  • 1 × Indoor Skydiving Experience for up to 5 people (winner + 4 companions) at The Drop Wind Tunnel, located close to Mall of Africa
  • **Food vouchers for RocoMamas

The total prize value is approximately R5,000.

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  1. Winner Selection & Notification
  • All valid entries will be entered into a random draw
  • The winner will be selected and announced by 30 June 2026
  • The winner will be contacted using the details provided

If the winner does not respond within 7 calendar days, BT Games reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  1. Prize Redemption & Conditions

The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the venue, including but not limited to:

  • Participants must weigh less than 100kg
  • Participants must be 5 years or older
  • All participants must comply with the safety rules and requirements of the venue

If the winner or any of their selected companions do not meet these requirements, they may not be permitted to participate, and no alternative compensation will be provided.

The winner may bring up to four (4) companions (maximum of five (5) people in total).

The winner may be required to:

  • Provide valid identification
  • Sign indemnity and/or participation forms required by the venue

The prize does not include any additional costs, including but not limited to:

  • Transport to and from the venue
  • Additional food, beverages, or upgrades beyond the provided vouchers
  • Any personal expenses

BT Games is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the use of the prize.

  1. Marketing & Publicity Consent

By entering, participants agree that:

  • The winner and their companions may be required to participate in promotional content
  • BT Games and/or the publisher may photograph and share images for marketing and social media purposes

Consent for this usage is required for prize fulfilment.

  1. Privacy
